Hair and scalp health optimisation

"It can take up to 7 years to become insufficient in Iron when an individual changes their diet to vegetarian or vegan, this can have a detrimental effect on their hair and scalp health"

Hair and scalp health optimisation comes from within, this optimisation can be supported by a nutritionally balanced diet

A few tips...

When you are trying to obtain more vitamins and minerals from your diet, try to vary your source of foods. Try not to stick to the same food sources to achieve better results.

If you are using an iron supplement, try taking this with Vitamin C such as orange juice, as it will aid with absorption. If you are taking an iron supplement please be aware of the recommended daily amounts, I also recommend having a blood investigation 3-4 months after implementing the supplement to check that your levels are not too high.

Gaining Vitamin D from the sun- to achieve maximum absorption of Vitamin D from the sun then….. the sun should be behind you, directly at the back of your head and your shadow should be smaller than you - "be careful of sun burn at all times".
