I was directed to Margaret by my sister who found her practice online after i had expressed concerns I had about the amount of hair that i seemed to be loosing while washing and brushing.  I attended a consultation with Margaret after seeing my GP,  who didnt really seem to know how to advise me on what could be causing my hair loss and how to treat it.  During my consultation, Margaret explained how hair cycles worked and what tje causes of my hair shedding could be.  Margaret did a full examination of my hair and scalp and explained to me what she saw and what it meant.  I couldn't recommend Margaret enough, she set me at ease and gave me a thorough explanation of what she felt was going on and how to move forward

I recently visited Margaret’s clinic and found her to be very professional but also very sympathetic. I felt comfortable discussing my hair loss with her.  She provided me with an honest assessment and a written report of the problems and their possible causes, which I’d been unable to discover elsewhere, and she suggested the different types of solutions available and their advantages and disadvantages. Really anxious regarding my hair loss I was pleased to find this local trichology clinic. Following lots of questions regarding overall health my scalp and hair were thoroughly examined using a special camera and  a microscope.

At every stage Margaret talked me through what she was observing and what these findings meant for my long term hair health.

I left with a treatment plan - evidence based rather than any expensive gimmicks .I received a helpful summary of my appointment that same day.

I was very happy with my appointment with the Trichologist Ms Margaret  Simpson.  She gave me a thorough examination using a hair follicle camera, she advised me to have my blood tested and suggested certain hair products to use. She later advised me on which nutrition and vitamins to take based on the blood results.

I attended privately a consultant dermatologist with the same problem the year before and Ms  Simpson’s   Examination and advice was far superior. I highly recommend her to anyone having hair loss problems.
